Don’t be so focused on sales that you forget to give your brand a personality. After all, no matter what anyone says, it’s not ALL about sales. I’m sure there’s an alternative motive to why you wanted to start your business in the first place. Creating a personality, whether it be serious, funny, feel-good, or crazy will go a long way for future sales.
Choose a set of identifiers –
For example, the color of your logo, YOUR LOGO, typography, images. . . all of these need to be consistent! The easiest way for customers to get on board with your image is to make sure that it’s represented the same way everywhere; on every platform, in every store-front, and in every advertisement.
Create a style guide for your branding –
Once you solidify your brand’s appearance, make sure to document everything – sort of in a “style guide” fashion. The last thing you want to do is slowly change appearances over time without actually realizing you are doing so. Good brands are able to stay organized and stay consistent.
